only edition of a scarce genealogical tract tracing the ancestry of Queen Victoria to 5th-century Armenia, presumably to encourage British support for the Armenian cause. The author (circa 1830-71) was a playwright and actor from Smyrna. presentation copy, inscribed and signed: "To Mr. Rubin David Sassoon as a sign of everlasting gratitude offers very respectfully S. Mirza Smyrna 28th of June 1866." The only other copies located are those in the Royal Collection Trust; the British Library; the Bodleian Library; the National Library of Armenia; and the American Heritage Library of the Sons of the Revolution in Glendale, California.
